I’ve just started wearing braces, but I hate them. I don’t see any advantage in wearing them. My friends all laugh at me and say bad things about me. I feel embarrassed when I smile or open my mouth. The braces hurt my teeth, and it’s difficult for me to eat. I feel it was a mistake for my mother to make me wear these ugly braces. What do you suggest?

       课文复述

Anna is worried about her friend Jolin. Jolin is too thin but she still thinks she's fat. She is always on a diet and she is getting too thin.

      Peter feels ashamed of himself. His friend laughed at a sick lady but he didn't say anything. 

Simon feels embarrassed when he smiles or opens his mouth. His friends laugh at him and say bad things about him when he wears braces. 

      Julie is annoyed with her sister. Her sister is too noisy. She always takes her things without telling her and she always makes a mess.
