Unit 2 How often do you exercise?

（一）help with housework     帮助做家务

help  v. 帮助       例句： Thanks for your advice.

n. 帮助      例句： I can’t make it without your help.

help sb.(to) do sth. 帮助某人做某事

例句： Could you please help me to take care of my baby?

help sb with sth.   帮助某人（做）某事

例句：I often help my mom with housework.

【例题】Emily helped me ______ my English and I helped her ______ play the piano.

【解析】根据搭配help ..with, help ..do..., help ...to do...，去掉A，B, D 选项。

（二）health  n. 健康

Internet作名词，表示“互联网、因特网”，常用的短语为：on the Internet“在互联网上”；surf the Internet“上网”。

例句：You can find much useful information on the Internet.

例句：Most of the students like surfing the Internet.

（四）mind   n.     头脑，心智

例句：Playing chess is good for your mind and body.

【拓展】mind    v.     介意  

【句型】would you mind sth./ doing sth?  你介意（做）某事吗？

  例句：Would you mind moving your bike?  

（五）although   conj. 虽然，尽管，即使

例句：Although my grandmother is 85-year-old, she is still in good health .

【注意】在英语中，although和 but（但是） 不能连用。

（六）She says it’s good for my health. 她说它（牛奶）对我的健康有好处。

（1）be good for意为＂对……有益＂，后可跟名词、代词或动名词。其反义短语be bad for意为＂对……有害＂。

例句： Eating vegetables is good for our health. 吃蔬菜对我们的健康有益。

【易混辨析】  be good for，be good at，be good with与be good to

be good for

意为＂对……有益＂

Doing exercise is good for you. 做锻炼对你有益处。

be good at

意为＂擅长＂，后接名词、代词或动名词

I’m good at playing basketball. 我擅长打篮球。

be good with

意为＂善于应对……＂

He is good with children. 他管理孩子有一套。

be good to

意为＂对……友好＂

She is always good to me. 她总是对我很友好。
