My 8-year-old daughter started to learn how to skateboard(滑滑板)two weeks ago. One day, we walked to the skate park to practise. But the place was full of teenage boys. Some of them were even smoking. My daughter said “Mum, it is full of older boys. Can we go home?” “So what? The skate park isn’t open only for them!” I said.
She went to go down a ramp(斜坡), a group of boys were flying past her. Suddenly, one boy came to her and said, “Hey, excuse me...”
I felt nervous(紧张的)and said to the boy, “She can use this park just as much as you guys!” But then the boy said to my daughter, “You feet are wrong. Can I help you?”
He then spent almost an hour with my daughter teaching her how to balance and steer(平衡与控制). He held her hand and helped her get up when she fell down. He was kind to my daughter, even though his friends made fun of him for it.
My daughter had a sense of pride(自豪). She believed that she could do anything because of this boy. When we left the skate park that day. I said to the boy, “________”

Judy: I had lunch at the Chinese restaurant yesterday. Let’s try the Thai restaurant.
Sally: Sure! Shall I book the table for five o’clock then we can have an early dinner?
