Unit9 Was I a good girl back then ?

1. Keep在这里意思是“保持”，后面常加形容词，表示保持某种状态。

如：keep quiet   保持安静            keep warm   保暖

拓展：

1）继续；重复（keep doing sth.）  如：Keep smiling.      

2）保有；持有；不退还            如：I keep all her letters.     

3）饲养；养                      如：We keep some goats.    

2. 辨析：watch, look, see, 与read 的区别

1）look指集中注意力地看，是有意的，强调“看”的动作。单独使用时，用来引起对方的注意；如果跟宾语，要和at连用。

2）see强调“看”的结果，意为“看见、看到”。

3）watch强调“专注地看”，有欣赏的意味，常用于看电视、看球赛等。

4）read指“看”时实指“阅读”，常用于看书、看报等。

3. 语法：反义疑问句

(1) 前肯后否    They work hard, don’t they?

(2) 前否后肯     You didn't go, did you?

对反意疑问句的回答，无论问题的提法如何，

如果事实是肯定的，就用yes，事实是否定的，就要用no。

要特别注意陈述句部分是否定结构，反意疑问句部分用肯定式提问时，回答yes或no与汉语正好相反。这种省略回答的yes要译成“不”，no要译成“是”。

如：—He likes playing football, doesn’t he?     他喜欢踢足球，不是吗？

—Yes, he does. / No, he doesn’t.      是的。/ 不是。

—His sister didn’t attend the meeting, did she?   他妹妹没有参加会议，是吗？

—Yes, she did. / No, she didn’t.      不，她参加了。/ 是的，她没参加。
