Yes, there are. / No, there aren't.

这是一个 therebe 句型。翻译成 “有”，在 there be 句型中有地点要先翻译地点。如：There is a boy in the classroom.  教室里有一个男生。 

There are some books on the desk.  桌子上有一些书。

There be 句型中的 be 动词是用 is 还是 are 取决于后面的单词是单数还是复数。
