小升初语法第15讲：连词（二）

连词（Conjunction）是用来连接词与词、词组与词组或句子与句子，表示某种逻辑关系的虚词。连词表示并列、转折、选择、因果等关系。如：“You and me.你和我。”“和”就是连词，表示并列。“You or me. 你或者我。”“或者”也是连词，表示选择。连词是一种虚词，不能独立担任句子成分，起前后连接作用，类似桥梁。连词主要分为并列连词和从属连词。

【知识点】从属连词

从属连词是用来连接从句和主句的连词。从属连词后面连接的句子是从句，另一个句子是主句。常用的从属连词有when, before, after, as soon as, because, if,  though, although等。按从属连词引导的从句将其分为以下四类。

Although/Though it was raining heavily, he still arrived on time. 虽然天下大雨，他还是准时到达。

★  though（虽然） 与but（但是）不能连用

Though he was tired，he still worked hard. 虽然他累了，但他仍然努力工作。

 = He was tired，but he still worked hard. =他很累，但他仍然努力工作。

He will not tell the secret even though/if he knows it. 即使他知道那个秘密，他也不会说的。

✮ 对于使用连词的句子来说，连词前后的语法必须同义。

   I went to the park and play football. （×）

   I went to the park and played football. （√）

✮ 在一般情况下，and多用于肯定句，而or多用于否定或一般疑问句。

   I have brothers and sisters. （肯定句）

   I haven’t brothers or sisters.  （否定句）

   Do you have brothers or sisters?  （疑问句）

✮ for是并列连词，不能置于句首，只能将其放在两个分句中间。

   I was absent yesterday for I was ill.

I went to the park and played football.
